In South Yorkshire Pass holders can travel for free all day:

East Riding of Yorkshire

Concessionary travel is available on local bus services throughout England between 9.30am and 11pm Monday to Friday and anytime at weekends and on bank holidays. The concession is available to people of pensionalbe age and people who have certain categories of disabilities. Free rail travel is only available on local rail services to holders of the Free Disabled travel pass.

Free Disabled Travel Pass

This pass is available to:
Persons registered with East Riding Social Services as blind, deaf, severely learning disabled or limbless (we will accept paralysis of limb).
This pass is available for:
Free travel on buses and trains wholly within the East Riding or to certain destinations outside the East Riding. Valid for free travel to the following locations: Doncaster, Hull (and for local travel within Hull), Malton, Pontefract, Scarborough, Scunthorpe (for journeys from Goole), Selby and York.

Trains: NOT valid for free travel on trains before 0930 Monday to Friday. There are no time restrictions on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Bus: NOT valid for free travel on buses between 0931 and 2259 Monday to Friday. For travel between these times you must use a national travel pass.

West Yorkshire

As a West Yorkshire resident, you are also entitled to train travel within West Yorkshire for just 35p after 9.30am, Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends and public holidays. Before 9.30am, bus and rail travel is at full fare.

North Yorkshire

Important information for passengers in North Yorkshire:

From 1 April 2011 all Concessionary Bus Pass matters become the responsibility of North Yorkshire County Council, having previously been handled by district councils.

Bus passes remain valid and can continue to be used, generally without change to conditons, but please see new information for Craven area below.

If you need to renew your bus pass, you will be contacted by North Yorkshire County Council.
Important information for Craven residents

The times you can use your pass in the Craven area will change from 1 April.

You will be able to use your bus pass at any time except between 6am and 9am on Mondays to Fridays.

This change will bring the Craven area into line with the rest of North Yorkshire.
